About Us |

In September of 2007, Florida Gateway Resort was founded as a Limited Liability Corporation (LLC) in hopes of bringing an RV Resort to Hamilton County that provided amenities to boost tourism to the local economy and allowed locals a sanctuary in which to enjoy. Throughout 2008, the infrastructure and planning stages commenced. In February 2009, construction began on the clubhouse and two bath houses. By the summer of 2009, the resort was open for business with amenities that included: club house, swimming pool, miniature golf, shuffle board, volleyball court, two bath houses complete with laundry facilities, nature trails and a fish stocked private lake. The resort has been open ever since and has expanded our market by adding cottages and additional amenities such as an outdoor kitchen, floating recreation deck, horseback riding trails, café, fitness center, spa, premium RV lots, beachside lake and paddleboats. For your next vacation look no further than Florida Gateway Resort, we have something for everyone.

Florida Gateway Resort is excited to be a part of the North Florida Community and are constantly striving to become a go- to place for camping, events, and entertainment. With weekly entertainment venues such as Karaoke Saturdays we invite locals and guests alike to kick back, relax and enjoy the musical show. If you are interested in learning more about hosting events at our resort or would like to hear more about our weekly entertainment options please email us at info@gatewayfl.com or call 386-792-2692.

Florida Gateway Communities

In 2010, Florida Gateway Resort expanded to include a sister company Florida Gateway Real Estate Investments, LLC. Our sister company includes the Florida Gateway Communities and the Oasis Commercial projects.

Gateway Communities is a mixed use project on 243 acres. The Gateway Communities will include residential homes, the current Resort, a shopping center, hotels, a medical center, a retirement community, professional offices, and much more. The project is to create a self-sustaining community over the course of the next eight to ten years. This self-sustaining community will provide a place to work, live and play. Gateway Communities has already received land use changes approval at the County level and are awaiting approval from the state. Currently two 10 acre parcels are ready for development.

The Oasis Commercial property is 53 acres of commercially zoned land ready for development on the southbound entry of Exit 451. Land parcels can be designed to fit the developer’s needs.
